Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday!

The new Lawn Fawn release is getting me really excited and enticed me to pull out one of my older sets to play with. I love Summertime Charm and really need to play with it more!

I decided to go for a vintagey sort of look and came up with this:

What do you think? I’m not too certain, but I think it’s growing on me, lol!

I started with a Stamper’s Select White card base and stamped my jar at an angle using SU! Pool Party ink. I then pressed my inkpad onto a piece of acetate and sprayed it with water to dilute it down before watercolouring my jar with it. Love the old-feel Mason jar look this evokes!

I used SU! Daffodil Delight ink along with Pool Party to stamp the multitude of stars next, stamping off every now and then to vary the colour depth. When all this was done I liberally brushed my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen over the stars and in the jar before stamping my sentiment using SU! Tempting Turquoise ink. I love how the sentiment is tumbling out of the jar with the stars!

Well, that’s it from me for tonight! Instead of being super-crafty over the weekend I did something that was a much greater need – tidying up my Craft Room! It felt great to clean and put away used stamps and clear my work surface, hopefully the mojo will flow more freely now!
