Hey everyone! Happy Friday!

Today I’m bringing you another Petals and Stems card! I wanted to take these modern flowers and turn them into something with a completely vintage feel. I ended up with this:

What do you think? I love how this turned out! The mix of white with the vintage colours and modern font really help create a vintage-modern feel!!

I started by stamping my blooms onto my Stamper’s Select White card base using Fine Linen ink, sometimes stamping off once first. I then overstamped some of the flowers using Sweet Blush ink, again stamped off first. I then stamped the leaves using Kraft ink before overstamping with Background Basics: Text Style I with stamped off Kraft ink.

I then added my sentiment from Handwritten Notes using Kraft ink, stamped several times, before finishing up with a really thin strip of cardstock painted with Tim Holtz Distress Paint in Tarnished Brass. And that’s all there is to it!
