Gracias

Hey everyone! Happy Friday!

I’ve got another Irresistibly Ikat card for you today – but that’s not what I’m most excited about when it comes to this card!

What do you think? Love the colours here!

And it’s something about those colours in particular that’s got me so excited – the ink! It’s those new SU! inkpads – I think these are my brand new love!! They are just *amazing* to work with!! The colours are so perfect and the impressions are crisp, deep, even and clean!!

I stamped the single ikat dot repeatedly over my Rustic White card base using SU! inks in Pool Party, Pumpkin Pie and Soft Suede, and used my favourite cream dye ink – Jenni Bowlin Malted Milk ink! Love this colour combination, and how those inks have all stamped!!

I completed the card with a sentiment from the Hero Arts/Studio Calico Love This set – and I was all done!

I guess I would like to kinda dedicate this card to you – my readers, and especially those of you who take to visit regularly and leave comments. I have had a lot going on behind the scenes lately and one of the things I’ve unfortunately let slide is how much I visit other blogs and comment. I’m so sorry about this, and want you to know that I do intend to make it up to you, and pay you a visit as soon as I can! I am truly grateful for every single one of you and want to thank you for sticking with me and being so patient. Thank you!

I’m off to the land of nod. but I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way! Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. What dedication on all those ikat dots! Those colors are indeed FAB together! I've got the pumpkin pie in one of those inchy sets, but not the others. And I'm totally with you on feeling bad about not keeping up with visiting blogs as I should. Summer is so hard for us since we're never home. Not so much with vacations, but just day-to-day activities. But you've got to take advantage of it while you can (in this case it's that my kids still don't mind hanging out with me!)

  2. I agree, the colors are gorgeous and the great thing about this card is that you can make it in all sorts of color combos to suit the season/occasion/recipient. So pretty.
