Your Future Is Bright

Hey everyone! Happy Sunday!

I’m bringing you a fun, cute encouragement card today:

What do you think? I think it’s pretty bright and cheery!

I actually made this card for myself. See, one of my biggest flaws is that I often have trouble looking forward, especially with optimism and hope, and instead get bogged down in the things that make me feel negative now. So I made this card to remind me to cheer up, look to the future, and smile about it!

Anyway, back to the card!

I started with a Stamper’s Select White card base and stamped the clouds from the My Cute Stamps Cheer Up set. This set is now discontinued – so glad I snapped it up when I had the chance! I used the underside of the stamp to stamp the solid clouds in A:Muse Bermuda ink, then overstamped the outline using A:Muse Ocean ink.

Next I stamped the sun using Hero Arts Butter Bar ink, then stamped the underside with A:Muse Buttercup ink. I stamped the smiley face using Butter Bar ink and then the extended sunrays, from the Lawn Fawn Future is Bright set, using Buttercup ink. As a final finishing touch I stamped the sentiment from Future is Bright using Smokey Shadow ink.

Well, I’ve got something *very* awesome to share with you tomorrow, and at a much better time in the day too! I do hope you’ll join me back here then, but in the meantime I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way! Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. I love that you've made yourself a [gorgeous] card. I wouldn't have thought about it. And hey, you save on postage too!

Your future is indeed bright. This is a turning point that hopefully you will look back on and think it's the best thing that happened to you!

  2. The sun is SO adorable! I'm so jealous of your My Cute Stamps Cheer Up set!!! Their stamps are so adorable but so many of them are gone already 🙁
