Runway Inspired Challenge Baby Shower – Little Marc Jacobs

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

I’m playing along with the latest Runway Inspired Challenge. After all, after seeing this cutie of an image, how could you not?

How adorable right?! And that’s exactly the sentiment I attached when I created my entry:

I couldn’t resist breaking out the gold embossing again, clearly!

I started with a Stamper’s Select White card base and stamped the Hero Arts Tiny Ink Spots Background using Versamark ink then heat embossed with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Pale embossing powder. I then stamped the stripes from Background Basics: Super Stripes and embossed in the same way. I went over the stripes with a Copic marker to introduce a bit more of a grey feel to them.

The cutie little bow was die cut from White Metallic Pearl cardstock using the Birthday Style dies and stamped and embossed with the image from the corresponding stamp set. I adhered the bow in place using Pinflair Glue Gel. I then added the sentiment from the Precious Remembrance Thanks set and that was it!

Well, things still show no sign of slowing down this week – but I have got something awesome lined up to share tomorrow! I do hope you’ll tune in then, but in the meantime I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way! Thanks so much for stopping by!!

  1. Oh what fun! I love that the only baby reference is your sentiment! That dotted background is still on my must-have list. Great idea to color over your embossing too for a different feel.

  2. You do realize that your blog is a detriment to my wallet…right? 😉 I love this stamp especially embossed in gold! So gorgeous! And the sentiment is perfect 🙂

  3. How perfect is this for that photo? I want to participate here too (Aga is one of my heros) just can't find the time. Wanted to thank you for the inspiration at WMS – I was the increcibly lucky winner of 5 sets. Wow, eh?

  4. Good morning! This card is absolutely stunning. I just love the gold embossing. Do tell your hints for a sharp embossed image! Mine never look this fantastic.
