Uniko Studio October 2013 Release – Introducing Jolly Christmas

By Taheerah | 25th October 2013 | 10 Comments

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday!!

It’s Day 5 of the Uniko Studio Release – Release Day is tomorrow!!!

Today I’m featuring our final new set this month called Jolly Christmas. An adorable set that will leave you feeling jolly indeed!

Some really cute little images in this set, and some great sentiments in some wonderful fonts too! Just wait ’til you see the Santa!!

The tree really reminded me of gingerbread, so I decided to create a little gift tag that made it the star of the show:

I’m love how this turned out!

I stamped the tree onto Kraft cardstock using Versamark ink and heat embossed with WOW! Opaque Vanilla White embossing powder to look like piping. 🙂 I trimmed the tree out, inked the edges and a little of the middle with Vintage Photo distress ink then heat embossed the sentiment too.

I adhered the tree to a mini Rustic White card base, and stamped the sentiment with Kraft ink. I then rounded a corner, inked the edges. punched a hole and threaded through some May Arts twine and this little cutie was done!

So what do you think? Are you in love big time?! I really recommend checking out the Uniko blog where Bev is officially introducing the release every day – and also to the designers who are also showcasing this set! Make sure you comment on each of their gorgeous creations – they deserve it!!

I’d love to know what you think of today’s creation – I love it when you leave love! Thanks so much for stopping by – tomorrow is Release Day so you simply must tune in for the Release Day Blog Hop and the chance to shop shop shop!!

  1. I'm looking for the Release Day post for the hop. I am thinking you haven't put it up yet….

LOVE this tag and your vintage neutral colors soooooo much. I always end up going red/green or blue/silver for Christmas. I never think of kraft. Thanks for the inspiration!!!

  2. A cute, festive tag indeed! Funny that I thought of gingerbread when I first saw the darling tree, too! LOVE your showcase of this image; the kraft and cream/white is eye-catching and stunning! Thanks for sharing!
