Hey everyone! I’m back!

So today we have a brand new Inky Paws Challenge up on the Newton’s Nook blog – so fun! Here’s the wonderful inspiration graphic we had to get us going:

Isn’t that awesome? Love those colours and those yummy looking heart cookies!

I used the colours to guide me and ended up creating this tag:

What do you think? I love how this turned out!

I started by stamping Newton and the balls of wool from Newton’s Antics, and the speech bubble from Just Say Cheese, onto Pure White cardstock and coloured them with Copics. I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink for stamping my catty and speech bubble, and Distress Inks in Mustard Seed, Peacock Feathers and Bundled Sage, and PTI ink in Berry Sorbet, for the wool.

I die cut my tag from cardstock and patterned paper from the My Mind’s Eye Howdy Doody collection using the Embellished Tag die and adhered them together. I stamped part of the coral wool again then adhered all my elements using Pinflair Glue Gel, before punching a tag and threading through some May Arts twine and adding a cute little clothes peg to finish things off. Love!
