Neat And Tangled January 2016 Release – Introducing Pixellated Heart!

By Taheerah | 20th January 2016 | 25 Comments

Hey everyone!

I’m back today because it’s time for the Neat & Tangled January release! It feels so great to be creating again!!

This has got to be one of my most favourite releases in some time!! So many awesome, cute and clever products being released this month! Definitely something for everyone, with some super-versatile sets!!

Today I’m helping to introduce a new die called Pixellated Heart. Hold onto your hats because this one is gonna blow. you. away!! It’s such a clever die that Miriam’s designed, and creates a pop-up insert for the insides of your cards!!

Of course I wanted to be different. 😛 So I didn’t create an insert and instead created something else!

Here’s what I came up with:

I love how this turned out!

Very simple this one – I die cut the large heart from black cardstock and trimmed it out from the pop-up part, then die cut the smaller heart from red cardstock. I offset the red heart when adhering it so it looks retro 3D. 🙂

I die cut the small heart one last time from white cardstock, then selectively trimmed some small pieces so I could add them to the front to add a little ‘shine’ to the heart. 🙂 Adhered the completed thing to my base with Pinflair Glue Gel and I was all done!

I do strongly encourage you to visit the Neat & Tangled Blog to see what the rest of the DT has created and to hop along and leave them some love! There are prizes in it for you!

Thanks so much for stopping by – I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way!

  1. Your Pixellated Heart, in its solo performance – as well it deserves – is quite the bold, eye-catching expression of love! Very cool, very artsy, very smart! Another delight…
