Hi everyone! How are you doing today?

I’ll have an Advent Calendar Extravaganza post up later, but for now I’m here to share something different!

Did you know that Ellen Hutson has an awesome monthly inspirational challenge called the Pin-Sights Challenge? Each month there’s a fantastic mood board based challenge located on the CLASSroom blog, with wonderful inspiration and a chance to win a prize too! Not only that but every single entry is also pinned to a special Pinterest board too! I’m appearing as a guest artist this month, yay! Thank you Ellen for having me!

Here’s the beautiful inspiration for this month’s challenge:

Gorgeous right?! So festive and atmospheric!

Here’s what I created:

I really love how this turned out!

I used the fantastic Poinsettia & Pine dies to die cut lots of foliage from vellum, then used Multi Matte Medium to add some Distress Glitter to the berries. I added a little splatter too of course!

My tag is heat embossed with the sentiment from Holly Jolly – love that brush font! The matted layer was some cream cardstock which I turned into shimmer cardstock by spraying with spray adhesive then rubbing the entire surface with Perfect Pearls powder before setting with a water mist and hairspray. An assortment of sequins and some splatter on the matted layer finished things off nicely!

It would be so awesome if you went and checked out the challenge and all the awesome inspiration on show, and then make sure you take part in the challenge too! A random winner will win a $50 gift certificate to spend at Ellen Hutson!!

Thanks for stopping by – make sure you join me later on for Day 17 of Advent Calendar Extravaganza!
