So it’s time for the Neat & Tangled October Release! We have *six* awesome sets being released this month!! Definitely something for everyone, with some super-versatile sets!!
Today I’m helping to introduce another of the awesome sets designed by my friend, Miriam Prantner! Winter Trees has a gorgeous treescape, a variety of star images and some wonderful sentiments inspired by hymns and carols!
I wanted to make the sentiment the star of the show so I came up with this:
I love how this turned out!
I started with a panel of Pure White cardstock and blended in Distress Inks in Chipped Sapphire, Stormy Sky, Scattered Straw and Squeezed Lemonade then spritzed with water mixed with Perfect Pearls. I then stamped the sentiment using Versamark and heat embossed with WOW! Metallic Platinum Sparkle embossing powder.
I repeated the stamping and embossing with the stars from Winter Trees and the star trails from Time Warp then stamped over the sentiment again with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I matted my panel onto some Onyx Shimmer cardstock and then adhered to a Pure White card base and I was all done!
