I’m back to welcome to Day 3 of the Newton’s Nook February Release!
We have three *awesome* sets being released this month – and you’re totally invited to come party with us!
Today’s set is the final one of the release and definitely my favourite! You know I just can’t resist Newton and today he’s back causing more mischief in a set called Newton’s Birthday Bash!! Filled with lots of great images, including lots of Newtons, and great sentiments, this set is a must-have and perfect for fun birthday cards!!
I really love the image of Newton playing with a balloon so I focused on creating a card with that:
*Love*!
I started by stamping Newton onto Pure White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured him with Copics. I then carefully trimmed him out. Isn’t he adorable?! Mind you don’t pop that balloon Newton!!
I adhered some patterned paper from the BasicGrey Basic White collection (now discontinued) then stamped lots of the confetti from the set using Distress Markers to colour the individual images on the stamp. I added a sentiment and adhered Newton using Pinflair Glue Gel and I was all done!
