Open Happiness

Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday!

So, my plan to post at a more sensible time didn’t quite come off huh? I was uber-productive today when I woke up but then didn’t make a card until the night!

So anyways, it seems my card from yesterday left me in the mood for more masking/misting, so I came up with this:

What do you think? I’m pretty happy with it! It’d make a great gift card for a Coca Cola fan!

I started with a Stamper’s Select White card base. I die cut the coke bottle shape from acetate using the Your Next Stamp Soda Bottle Die and temporarily adhered it to the base. Next I misted with Studio Calico’s Mister Huey’s in Overdue (there’s also a second red mist below that layer but I can’t remember the name of that one!).

Once dry I stamped the letters from the Clear And Simple Stamps Alpha Modern set using Versamark ink and heat embossed with WOW! Opaque Bright White embossing powder. I substituted a heart from Mama Elephant’s Midnight Letters set in place of the ‘o’. I used a Copic Marker to colour over the letters that overlapped into the white. And that’s all there was to it!

Well, hopefully I’ll have something a bit different to post tomorrow, and at a more sensible time, lol! In the meanwhile I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way! Thanks so much for stopping by!
